N maggio mi e' stata attivata una connessione alice tutto compreo, con fornitura di router alice gate 2 plus wifi. Il mio computer dispone di una scheda wi-fi D-Link.Inizialmente, settata la mia scheda con i dati opportuni, e senza alcun utilizzo del disco di installazione mi era possibile un'ottima navigazione oltre all'accesso senza problemi al router ed all'uso di Aladino(Voip).
La navigazione non richiedeva alcuna fornitura di identificativo e tantomeno di password.Cio' sia utilizzando windows(xp) che linux(fedora2) e sia anche utilizzando un altro router(D-Link sul quale impostavo id e password a 'aliceadsl'). Se ben capisco il modem di telecom funzionava da router.Dopo dieci giorni, senza alcuna richiesta da parte mia la linea ADSL mi e' stata disattivata. Dopo lunghe traversie la line mi e' stata riattivata ad inizio settembre.Dopo questa riattivazione non mi e' stato possibile navigare con le precedenti modalita'. Preso dallo sconforto ho utilizzato il disco di installazione (peraltro si e' piantato ma mi ha permesso di risalire ad un file 'rasphone.?'
).Per farla breve ora riesco a navigare in windows(sotto forma di connessione pppoe con fornitura di id e password:'aliceadsl','aliceadsl', ma impossibilitato ad accedere al router 192.168.1.1). In linux ho risolto il problema allo stesso modo e riesco anche ad accedere al router. Mi sembra quindi che il dispositivo si comporti come un modem. Se accedo al router(modem?) da linux posso osservare che segnala in configurazione internet:modalita' =bridged+router, connessione da modem= 'in attivazione', indirizzo IP in connessione da modem= 'non disponibile', con nessuna possibilita' di intervenire.Naturalmente il voip non funziona. Naturalmente telecom non sa dare rispostaDopo questa lunga introduzione (speriamo almeno che sia esauriente ) la domanda e':E' POSSIBILE OTTENERE UN FUNZIONAMENTO DA ROUTER?
