Floppy Disk Controller Driver

Why do i see many drivers?Below is a list of drivers that may be suitable for your device. With the different devices, they can have the same driver, it's because they all use the same chip manufacturer. How to select driver? If you are looking for an update, pickup the latest one.

Original Title - Floppy drivesHi, I have a USB floppy drive, lets call it generic, no names are printed on the label, and I have tossed the box it came in. (pretty much all use generic MS drivers anyways)Have floppy drivers been removed from Windows 10? The drive worked in 8 and 8.1 out of the box, using SFLOPPY.SYSit's listed as MITSUMI USB UFDD 061M USB Device in device manager. I've tried connecting it to different ports, and having windows detect and try to install drivers, but it keeps saying 'there are no compatible driver for this device'. Windows Update doesn'toffer any drivers for the device either.I've searched Google/Bing for solutions, but none have worked. Not a huge issue ATM, as I don't use it much, so I'm ok with it for the moment.

Hi, I have tried both methods, to no avail. All my other USB devices work fine, which there are many, as well as all other PCI/PCI-e devices. This is on a custom/home built desktop, not any brand name desktop. My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V LK, which has 2 sets of USB controllers onboard, Intel Z77 Express USB 3.0/2.0 and ASMedia USB 3.0 controller. If you have the 32 bit, I will guide you to a different thread where I have posted a fix that I put together myself. All the drivers needed for the floppy disk drive, are actually in the Windows 10 Technical PreviewEvaluation copy.
